Reno Open Studios, a free admission tour featuring the workspaces of local artists, began just one year ago and continues this year with almost forty participating artists. Visitors will be invited to each artist's studio where they can view the creative spaces not normally open to the public, meet and talk with the artists, see their work, and learn about their creative process and techniques. The categories are varied and include sculpture, weaving, photography, printmaking, paintings, ceramics, jewelry, turned wood, gourd art, glassblowing, mixed media and more. The exhibition on display now at Sierra Arts provides visitors with the chance to see all of the artists' work in one place prior to the event.
