Call for Entries:
Gallery East, Gallery West, and Metro Gallery
2016-2017 Season

Deadline: March 1, 2016
The City of Reno is currently accepting proposals from artists and curators interested in exhibiting. Gallery locations include:
Gallery East and Gallery West located in the McKinley Arts and Culture Center at 925 Riverside Drive, Reno, NV 89503
Metro Gallery in the lobby of City Hall at 1 East First Street, Reno, NV 89501

Exhibitions are seven weeks in duration. All media will be considered for display; however, the unique aspects of each venue are best suited for two-dimensional work although three-dimensional work may be considered if space allows. All gallery space are programmed for the general public. The appropriateness and quality of proposals is determined by a review panel, whose recommendations are provided to the­­ Public Art Committee and Reno Arts and Culture Commission for final approval. Selected exhibitions will be promoted by postcard and online. Notification of results can be expected in April 2016.

To be eligible, artists and curators must submit:
Application Form, available at www.renoculture.com
CD or Flash Drive with 5 to 10 digital images formatted as .jpeg
Name files using last name, underscore, and the number corresponding to image list
Example: Smith_01.jpeg Dimensions cannot exceed 1200 pixels wide or 800 pixels high; 72 DPI
Image list with title, medium, dimensions, and year of creation for each artwork

Biography
Résumé (no more than 2 pages in length)
(Optional) Self-addressed stamped envelope for return of materials
