It’s Time, Let Your Inner Poet Out – “Reno Community Poem Project”

Reno’s Poet Laureate, Gailmarie Pahmeier, is now accepting submissions for the Reno Community Poem Project. To participate in this ongoing poem about our city, send up to four lines of original work that address something you have observed in Reno. Each submission should begin with “Today in Reno…” Do include a specific, concrete observation, one that includes sensory detail (sights, smells, sounds, etc.). Your submissions will be edited by the Poet Laureate and compiled into an evolving poem about this place we call home. A spot on local radio is being negotiated as a space to share this work. Write honestly–have your voice heard!
