All New For 2014
We’re super excited about all the new things at Sierra Arts! Check ’em out!
First off, thanks to NV Energy and their SureBet program we were able to upgrade all of our office and gallery lighting to super-eco LED bulbs. The original halogen bulbs used between 45 & 90 watts and lasted about 2,500 hours. The new bulbs are between 5 & 19 watts and last 10 to 20 times as long!
These magnets are as cool as the art they’re gonna hold up. You can get yours free at the gallery and we’re also taking them to schools through our Arts In Education program.
Dang, if we aren’t lucky! Thanks to new board member, Mike Steedman, we were able to give the whole gallery a fresh paint job. Some of these walls hadn’t seen new paint in over 10 years!
Mark it awesome! These are all of our brilliant teaching artists on bookmarks that will go out to every student they teach this year in the Washoe County School District.
