Professional Development Workshops

Our Arts Infusion Project funded by a US DOE Professional Development for Arts Educators grant will host its first workshop of this cycle on February 23, 26 and 28 at Sierra Arts. The workshop, open to all teachers in the Washoe County School District, will be taught by professional dancer and instructor Jessica Mann and will focus on using movement to train teachers new ways to deepen social studies learning in the classroom. The workshop is limited to 40 participants on a first come basis and they must be able to attend all three days. To sign up or learn more contact Martha O’Neill at moneill@washoeschools.net.
