Reno News and Review Artown Preview Looking for Submissions

ATTENTION performing, visual and ALL ARTISTS who are engaged in some form of exhibit, performance or event during the month of July: If you were too late to have your information published in the Artown publications or on the Artown website, didn’t qualify as a presenter, or if you’re simply doing something about which you’d like the public to know – the Reno News & Review has good news for you!

With the help of underwriter Liberty Fine Art Gallery, the RN&R is making available a page in our popular, annual “Artown Preview” special pullout issue – which publishes on June 25th – to feature listings for local Artists who have a need to reach the public with their message! We would like this to expand to two pages, depending on additional underwriting to cover costs.

This space will feature listings only (that is, text), but we’re encouraging Artists to submit whatever information is available on their showing, performance or event, including images (limited to three images, up to 1mb each, in .jpg or .pdf format).

Please e-mail all information and material to: johnm@newsreview.com with PREVIEW in the subject line. Also include your name, business name (if applicable) and phone number. DEADLINE for submissions is 5PM this Thursday, June 18th.

Artists are also reminded that they can post information FREE on the RN&R’s online calendar, simply by creating an account:

The Reno News & Review is our region’s free weekly news, arts, entertainment and opinion newspaper, publishing every Thursday. It is available at over 800 locations, distributing 30,000 copies which reach an estimated 65,000 adult readers in a single issue and over 90,000 adult readers in a month (unduplicated, 4-week cumulative and single-issue readership, according to the Winter, 2015 phone survey of the Reno area by International Demographics; circulation data verified by the Circulation Verification Council).
