North Valleys High School – Fine Art Department 2nd Annual Fine Arts Festival

May 30th 11:00-3:00
This family friendly event is being advertised to all the k-12 students and parents in the North Valleys Area.

This is a free community event to inspire curiosity and creativity

What we are doing:

Student gallery walk
Edible Mosaics / graham crackers, frosting, and candy
Optical Illusions Exhibit / on loan from UNR
Henna tattoos / free 2 inch design / larger size cost $5
Photo Booth with Famous Paintings / Mona Lisa and more Pottery on the wheel demos / give it a try
Performances by student and professional bands & orchestras Instrument Petting Zoo / touch and play instrument Installation Art piece / walk through a hall of butterflies Poetry on Demand / get a unique poem written by a Poet Camera Obscura / walk inside a real oversized camera
Improv games in the theater
Student play / Women and Wallace at 2:15 / $5
Glitter face paint
Make your own origami butterflies on a branch
Food trucks will be on location

Ways to get involved:

  1. Local business are invited to sponsor one of our booths
  2. Send a representative to join us at the event and set up your own booth

Fees: $25 to sponsor a booth or to set sell art No charge to run a creativity activity Registration fee is non-refundable

One 6 foot table with 4 chairs and a 8×10 color sign with your logo or name

OPTION A / Sponsor a Booth

– $25 dollar sponsor fee / per table
-We will display an 8 x 10 sign of your logo on the booth. We can handout coupons or flyers if you provide them.
-If you would like to provide us with a larger banner we can display that as well.

OPTION B / Sell your own Artwork

– $25 booth fee / You keep all profits / We recommend keeping your prices low (below $50)
– You may bring a tent for shade. You will be setting up on cement. There may or may not be wall space to lean against. Limited power outlets available upon request, but you must bring your own extension cord. – Please only display and sell family friendly work. OPTION C / Run your own activity booth

-No fee (Suggested donation $15) -We appreciate your support of the Arts!!
