Icons in Transformation is a dramatic traveling exhibit which has toured cathedrals and museums in both Europe and the United States. Artist Ludmilla Pawlowska offers a rare opportunity to see both her work and the path of her contemporary vision derived from traditional Russian icons, their transformative power, and her unique painting techniques. This is not necessarily an exhibition about icons, but about Ludmila’s inspiration derived from the icons and her vision of their transformative power. Experience Ludmila’s spiritual journey by viewing her art, participating in guided tours, guest speakers and other special events. The exhibition runs June 12 – August 13, 2016.
