The Swan Soiree Fundraiser

Continuing their rebellion against traditional hotel styling, the Morris Burner Hotel, located at 400 E. Fourth St., invited artists to adopt and reimagine old, lifeless prints of swans that used to hang in FItzgerald hotel rooms. The new, livelier collection is on display now throughout the hotel. All of the pieces are open for bidding at silent auction, with final bids being collected at the closing reception, the Swan Soiree on Saturday, January 31st beginning at 2PM. Maintaining the theme of “revitalization”, proceeds from the auction will benefit the Reno/Sparks Gospel Mission, who have a detox center location immediately next door to the hotel. Those who would like to experience the collection are invited to stop by The Morris, where during the month of January the pieces will all be displayed at open gallery, and on January 31st, the closing reception, the Swan Soiree itself, will take place
